Demétrio Jereissati was born in 1959 in Fortaleza, Brazil. Have worked professionally as a civil engineer for most of his life, he only started photo shooting in 2013, on a vacation trip to Patagonia in South America.
Three years later, a photo taken on that trip won the bronze medal at the International Festival of Photography Brasilia Photo Show.
Demétrio is a road runner, activity that provides an unique eye perception of the architecture of cities, landscapes and street scenes, often the inspiration or motifs of his photos.
His youngest son used to call him “pqf - pensa que é fotografo”*, and it is the way he signs his work.
